How to Purchase LabSocket

LabSocket may be purchased using one of two methods:

Direct from Bergmans Mechatronics, LLC
Using the "Buy Now" button on this page to order a license via PayPal. Most common credit or debit cards may be used with PayPal and a PayPal account is not required to use this payment method. Upon payment, Bergmans Mechatronics will e-mail activation credentials to the customer.

National Instruments LabVIEW Tools Network
Customers can also purchase LabSocket through National Instruments' LabVIEW Tools Network www.ni.com/labviewtools/labsocket. National Instruments will send activation credentials directly to customers who use this option.

Licensing

The LabSocket VIPM package may be installed on a single development platform. An unlimited number of executables may be created from a single LabSocket installation. Note that LabSocket-E Student and Home Edition is for academic and non-commercial use only.

LabSocket Server

A key component of LabSocket for Windows is the software that operates on the LabSocket Server platform. This software consists of an HTTP server, Message Broker and an administrative application. The LabSocket Server software can be provided in the form of a self-booting VirtualBox Virtual Machine, containing a preconfigured HTTP server, Message Broker and administrative software.

The LabSocket Server VM may be downloaded at no cost for evaluation and commercial purposes from the LabSocket Download page.

Customers who intend to operate the LabSocket Server on a platform that may not be compatible with VirtualBox, such as a shared host cloud server, will receive instructions for manual installation of the LabSocket Server software. Alternately, for an additional fee, Bergmans Mechatronics, LLC (BML) will launch and configure a remote "cloud" server for the exclusive use of the customer.

Software Update Policy

Customers automatically receive free LabSocket updates for six months from purchase date.

The LabSocket Software Update Plan allows customers to receive software updates that occur after a six month period following the software purchase date. Upon subscribing to the Update Plan, software updates will be sent to the customer automatically for a period of one year. The price to subscribe to the Update Plan is 20% of the software license cost. The software update subscription may be purchased at any time.

Satisfaction Guarantee

If a customer is not completely satisfied with the system for any reason within 15 days of purchase, BML will provide a full refund.
